Psychotherapy is often compared to a hike. You have set yourself a goal and chosen a mountain peak. I am the mountain guide who shows you different routes, provides you with equipment, and secures you with the climbing rope. Nevertheless, you decide which path we choose and at what pace we undertake our journey together.
Psychotherapy is a legally recognized treatment method that can help in difficult life situations and with mental illnesses. Cognitive behavioural therapy, as a form of psychotherapy, is scientifically based. This means that we look at your symptoms, when they emerged, and how they are maintained. We deal with your feelings, thoughts and behaviour. The aim is to reduce your suffering, activate resources, and improve the quality of life. No matter what interventions we use, your well-being is our top priority.
